Seminars and study blocks

 

TEKIJÄ project organized seminars on touring and mobility in the field of performing arts.

The first TEKIJÄ seminar took place in Turku on March 27th 2011.

The second, international seminar on touring in Scandinavian and the Baltics was held in Helsinki (Ateneum Hall, Kaivokatu 2), on November 17th to 18th 2012. 

The third seminar was held in Pori on 6–7 September 2012, during the International Theatre Festival Lain§uojattomat. 

The last TEKIJÄ seminar took place in Tampere, August 7th at Tampere Congress & Culture Centre Puistotorni, Väinö Voionmaa -sali.

Touring in Scandinavia and the Baltics

BRIDGING REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVES

 

An international seminar on touring in Scandinavian and the Baltics was held in Helsinki (Ateneum Hall, Kaivokatu 2), 17–18 November 2012. Seminar was organised by TEKIJÄ project in co-operation with International Theatre Festival Baltic Circle (Q-teatteri).

The seminar presented new sustainable models for regional and cross-border co-operation and opened discussion on international mobility outside big cities. The speakers were professionals from the field of theatre, dance, circus and performance art from Nordic and Baltic states.

Seminar lectures were gathered into one publication, which includes individual speeches and a commentary by PhD Max Ryynänen.
